No matter how cliche it sounds, I have to say it. This school year went by so fast! I can't believe that in a couple of hours, Jacob will be home from his last day as a kindergartener! He has grown up physically and emotionally this year and learned a heck of a lot in the process.
For the physical..... here is Jacob on Day 1 of kindergarten, August 24, 2011
He stood 3'7" tall and weighed in at 42lbs
And today, the last day of kindergarten, May 30, 2012
He stands 3'8.75" and weighs in at 43.5lbs
I can't believe I have a FIRST grader now!

Telling a story with your hands...
Luke loves to do hand motions with the songs he learns. I don't remember which song this was, but it was cute...
And Basketball
Another sport dear to David's heart (playing, not necessarily watching or following certain teams) is basketball. Again, not really my sport, so I'm glad the boys have their Daddy to help them learn the game.
Golf
While I was away for a few days last month, David took the boys to Academy for some golf clubs. Although I can't golf to save my life, David loves to do it, so naturally he wants to pass that love onto his sons (much like I've done with soccer and swimming with the boys!)
Here are a few shots of the boys practicing in the yard.

Field Day
May 2nd, Jacob had Field Day at school. He talked about the games and activities he would get to do for weeks in advance.
Ready to play:
A little putt-putt
Patiently waiting....
for this....
And who doesn't love running with a cup of overflowing water...
Water activities are always a hit. How about tossing a water soaked ball with your partner.
Scooter Races
I had to leave before the class relays began, but I was glad I came to see my boy have some fun outside.

Diving
I'll take some time for a longer swim team post soon, but I was looking through pictures and decided to post some diving ones.
