Well....sorta. Jacob has been showing more and more confidence in the pool over the last few weeks. This really showed while on our trip. He would play on the steps without his float, go in and out of his float on his own, and just kick around the pool. He also wanted to jump to Mommy or Daddy over and over and over. Finally, on the last day, he decided to push from the steps and 'swim' to Daddy. He actually stayed near the surface of the water and kicked his little feet to make it to Daddy standing several feet away. He even had his little arms helping a bit. He was so proud of his new skill, he wanted to do it over and over again as well. If not for an impending thunderstorm, he would have stayed for hours. We still have to work on breathing, but it is a start!
He also showed some skills on the Bocce Ball 'court' too. Holding his own as Daddy's partner in a game against Mommy and Papa....even scoring some points. We may have a little athlete among us.
