The Wedding and Trains

Pics and update from Feb. 1-7
The big event for the week was my sister, Rachel's, wedding. Jacob had been told about the event and asked often when it was, thinking we had missed it. The boys were both ring bearers (in addition to my nephew, David) and they all did a fabulous job. I can't wait to see the video of their procession and see pictures taken by the photographer of the event. The reception was a blast as well and the boys did great. We loved seeing family too. It was a wonderful weekend and especially gorgeous event. I'm working on another post with lots more pictures.
Luke got a haircut in preparation for the wedding. The kid LOVES haircuts. He just smiles and giggles and has the best time. Go figure.
Much to Jacob's frustration, Luke now likes to play trains. Jacob wasn't too happy to share at the hair salon,
and certainly hasn't become accustomed to sharing his own trains and tracks at home. We might have to break down and buy some more tracks to help keep the peace around here.
Unfortunately, Luke has picked up on some of Jacob's hitting and throwing toys when he doesn't get his way. Definitely something we need to nip in the bud now!
Here are the pictures from the wedding week.

  1. Oh, those little ones definitely pick up the hitting and throwing quickly. Caroline hits her siblings more than anyone else in the house! She actually told me "Bad Mommy" this morning b/c she did not get her way. She learned that from Samuel -- grrr
